McHenry received the request for reimbursement of militia for goods not supplied while in service at Gallipolis and has made a settlement with Doc. Petit. However McHenry refused to settle Doctors claim for compensation prior to dates outlined in letter.

Bass admits that he is not able to attend to business because he is very unwell and confined to his bed. He had a violent fever the previous evening and sent for a doctor who ordered him bled immediately.
Wolcott forwards a copy of a contract with James O'Hara who is responsible for issuing the supplies at the various posts. All the commanders at these posts should be given a copy of this agreement to ensure that their troops are sufficiently supplied.
Advises Fish that he will receive money from the Treasurer of the U. S. that he is to transfer to Frederick Sprig, assistant storekeeper at West Point for his salary and the pay of the Ordnance Detachment
Acknowledges receipt of pay roll for the Ordnance Detachment at West Point and Sprig's account for pay. Money for the pay will be forwarded by Nicholas Fish, federal supervisor at New York.
