Elias Langhan has transmitted a Power of Attorney to Hodgdon from Joseph Keepers whose son Joseph, Jr. died while serving as a soldier in Captain Bissell's Company. The Power of Attorney authorizes Hodgdon to transmit to Keepers, an honest and indigent old man, the balance of his son's pay. He wants Hodgdon to let him know if anything has been recovered for him.
