Craig soon expects to transmit a return for the period through 1798 but those of the Commissary Department he is particularly anxious to settle. So far he has not been able to obtain the vouchers for issues at Marietta. The provisions at that post are charged to Joseph Buel who was recommended by the commander, Colonel Sproat.
