notable phrase

A considerable number of workmen are now employed at the gallies which has added much to the duty of Quarter Master at this post. In order to regulate the attendance of the ship carpenters and others employed I have to request you to send if possible a small ship bill, I presume you have got on in your stores
You will find accompanied by a general return of stores for this post up to the 1st
in my accounts with the late and the present quartermaster general I have credited them and debited you with the amount my several requisitions made on estimates of expenditures and I wish to know if you debit the quarter master general in like manner up to the first of June last
