Title
Recommendation of Mr. Newton
Description
Blanchard recommends his friend Mr. Newton for employment as an assistant to Mr. Harris in the public stores. He believes Newton is worthy in every respect, being a good Federalist from Connecticut. Blanchard would have continued to employ Newton himself had it not been for the 13-year-old apprentice he took on for a period of eight years.
