I have this day transmitted
transmitted to the Comptroller of the Treasury three packets containing vouchers of Disbursements in the Q. M. D. up to the 1st July 1796 accompanied by an abstract which shews the Expenditures up to the 1st of April the period to which you say the former Q.M.G.'s accounts are to be [balanced?].
Colo Butler has been long expecting and calling me for summer cloathing for Garrisons of the several posts under his command. I hope these Articles are on the way. I have again to beg your attention to the concluding Paragraph of my letter of the 15th Ultimo.
