Expression of a considerable degree of regret that, despite reports from Captain Thomas Truxton and Stodder himself that launch would take place in July; the launch date of the frigate Constellation has been extended again, until August. Reports from officers suggest that Stodder is not working hard or fast enough. Request goes out to have the frigate completed with all possible dispatch and without incurring any unnecessary expense. Ensure that bottoms are coppered while on the stocks.
Hodgdon is asked to take order for five tons of pig lead, in lieu of the five tons of sheet lead heretofore ordered, for the use of the Frigate "Constellation" at Baltimore.
Enclosed to Governor Sevier are official papers that expose the criminality of an individual whose is unworthy of his seat in the Senate from which he has been expelled. He is also being impeached by the House of Representatives and Sevier is asked to provide persons, papers, and records which might assist in the elucidation of his actions.

Certification that $4.24 is due Jedediah Rogers, late a captain in the service of the US, being the balance of his pay, subsistence, and forage from May 5 to October 25, 1792, which sum is payable to Mrs. Rogers.
Certification that $64.32 is due Nicholas Fish Supervisor New York, being the amount of his account on receiving and paying monies from the War Department in the quarter ending June 30, 1797.
Mr. Ditsco would have received Hodgdon's warrant had the Secretary of War been available though it could not have been paid due to some outstanding warrants being presented to the Treasurer. Simmons now has the warrant.
Harris is directed to deliver to Samuel Hodgdon for transportation to Boston for the frigate "Constitution" the following: sheet lead, brass mounted muskets and bayonets with accoutrements, hand grenades, and 24 pound shot.
