Since part of this clothing is for recruits already enlisted, it might be well to send a few suits by way of Amboy if the carriage expense is not excessive.

Mentions stoves & glass destined for Detroit; lets him know that 2 garrison flags, stationery, bar iron and nails have been sent to Masac, as requested. Encloses a return of the doctor's stores at Pittsburgh.
Wilkins has drawn on Hodgdon Bill No. 53 for $353 in favor of Mr. Beck and Mr. Reese. He asks Hodgdon to pay $1154.56 due on a land certificate in Wilkins' name and charge it to him so that the land is not forfeited.
