Hodgdon is directed to expedite the delivery of a list of articles and stores to the frigate "Constellation'" anchored in the Patapsco River. If the items previously requested for that ship have not been delivered, Hodgdon must see that they are sent with the greatest possible dispatch.
Harris directed to deliver to Samuel Hodgdon a list of artricles for the frigate "Constellation" that may be transported to the ship with the greatest possible dispatch.
Among other matters, Wilkins notes that shot and shells can be had locally at a price that will probably not exceed eighty dollars per ton. Bills No. 66, 77, and 78 have been drawn on Hodgdon for a total of $5150. In the past there have been errors in numbering bills so Wilkins will attempt to prevent future mistakes.
Enclosed is the discharge of Charles Smith from Capt. Kalteisen's Company which is the only voucher he has to substantiate his claim against the US for the balance of his pay. McKee feels that since he introduced Smith into the service, he is obligated to forward his claim.
As requested by Lowndes, Templeman, and Stoddert, McHenry advances $75 for the five shares he holds in the bridge so that the work on securing the safety of the bridge can go forward.
Among a number of supply matters, Craig notes that James Hamilton has arrived with one wagon in which he delivered Indian goods and a few other articles. Craig has settled with him on the cost of transportation and prevailed upon the General to refund to him the cost of the looking glasses as they were delivered in good order.

Enclosed is the muster roll for February 1798 and the muster roll returned to Mckee for pay rolls up to March 1. Daniel Millar's receipt for his pay up to the time of his discharge from Capt. Kalteisen's Company is also transmitted.
Cabell presents his compliments to Simmons and would thank him to examine [?] account to determine whether any money is due him and point out the mode necessary for obtaining it.
