Enclosed is a list of Invalid Pensioners for the State of Pennsylvania with a warrant for their payment for the period from March 5th to September 4th, 1799. The Secretary of the Treasury will provide the funds to make these payments. Maylon is directed to identify any deaths of removals that may have come to his attention.

Amidst a discussion of the returns of the Springfield Armory, Williams pledges that the armory in the future will turn in no less than four hundred muskets monthly. However, he may face a deficiency of gun stocks by February which is a time of year in which it is impossible to get them so a surplus might be sent in December.
